I can say that the Naturalizer sandals I just got from my grandmother look nice and go easy on my feet for my noon walks. And although I don't wear my wedges for my walks, I probably could. Summer is just the biggest nuisance when it comes to trying to find comfortable shoes. I spend an enormous amount of time trying to sort this problem out with my clients and my own fussy feet. One problem I'm having is finding a comfortable shoe, not a sandal, that I can wear with jeans and chinos, but that doesn't make me look squat. I love other people in those cute Pumas and Converse, but on me - if I don't have a heel, my foot looks huge and my legs look short! There are times when I just don't want to wear heels - for instance, a long day of shopping at the mall, or exploring on a vacation. I hate the bulky athletic sneaker look, especially with Khakhis (I feel like a gym coach!) Is there a trick for wearing flat shoes when you have short heavier legs (slightly big thighs)?
