They aren't uncomfortable ( I can't feel them on my feet) and they stay on my shoes. They look vintage (and I think that they are) and kick my black pumps up a notch. I have also seen "Moms" old clip earrings used for shoes. There is a shop in Seattle called Rhinestone Rosie's that has a ton of beaded and sparkle earrings. Very fun!
