Look at the web sites that sell them. There are lots of styles in brown and black. I have a high zip-up pair as well as a shorter ankle lace-up. I live in New England, and my previous pair lasted 6 seasons. I wear them every day and all day as a teacher that is in and out with yard duties. I never felt that I had to 'break them in'.
