I love thick brows i have mine thick, but i´m obsessed with my tweezers so much, that i can´t stop using them… =(

Sorry, I meant that I don’t like the really thin brows I’ve seen on some women. I’ve rarely seen women with brows that are too thick, but it can happen. I just don’t like it when they are a pencil-thin line. Mine are naturally thick, but not quite as thick as Kiera’s.

Very interesting. I think that you need to work with what you have. Generally, people look best if they tweak what they were naturally given, thick or thin. You’ll want to keep a thicker brow line if you naturally have one, and shape a daintier brow line if you have thin brows. Both look great if they match your features and you shape accordingly. I feel strongly that everyone needs to shape their brows despite the thickness of them. And if you don’t have brows, you need to create them. Strawberry blondes and toe heads often have brows that you can’t see. Dye your brows. It’s astounding how much of a difference a visibly groomed brow line makes to the overall look of your face. Forget the make-up and remember to use sunscreen and groom your brows!

I have also kept my thick eyebrows. I have a thinner face with big eyes. I wouldn’t say my nose was large, but it is not small. I couldn’t imagine having thin brows with my non-petite features. I do have trouble with them getting too long though. After reading this I trimmed them a bit and bought some eyebrow gel. I’ll have to give it a few days, but I think I like it. Will it really keep them in place all day?

Count me as the oddball. I don’t like thick brows..I think they are very masculine looking and take over a woman’s face. The links of those two actresses was frightening to me, especially the second one. I don’t like overly thin brows either. But if I had a choice between too thin or too thick–I’d go thin. Another brow peeve of mine—bleach blonds with black brows. YUCK!

What face shape would you say is best to have a full eyebrow Angie?

Also what about girls with glasses? Does it make a difference one way or another or does it help to have a certain kind of eyebrow?

I have full brows too, rather like Kiera Knightly’s actually. I’ve never liked the really think brows I’ve seen on many women (especially actresses and models), but I try to keep mine groomed and shaped. I’ve never heard of brow scissors or gel. I’ll have to get some.

I love the look of clean, groomed eyebrows regardless of their size and thickness. I have to keep mine fairly thick, otherwise they look fake. If I let them grow out all the way, though, I end up with a hairy slug across my forehead, eww.

i love thick eyebrows, i get rid of the strays and that’s about it. the propensity of women to pluck them into an expression of extreme surprise disturbs me.

Mine are quite full ! They balance out my chubby lower face and frame me eyes. I’ve never allowed a beautician near them, I was afraid that they’d pluck them into thin fashionable arches. I learned to do by own plucking !
Once I was tempted to thin them a bit, but it didn’t look good on me.
