I´m in Denmark, and I can agree that the skinny jeans continue...The Maxi´s will most likely be in, since the local TV guide showed them as a trend....I would look great in ballet flats coz I have slim ankles and calves, but then I hate flats! I feel that England is always ahead of Denmark when it comes to trends..... Denmark is always behind in trends....

Oh yeah, I'm also excited about see-through blouses, because I love the two I have. And my favorite skirt is a pencil skirt. And I love army green; it matches my eyes. I have two skirts in that color (one ankle length and the other that I've shortened to knee length), to pairs of pants, and a few shits and sweater with the color it them. There’s so much to be excited about, something for everyone.

I find some styles have such a small wearable audience. Like the ankle strap ballet flats. You have to have very thin calves and ankles to wear them. I honestly don't know anyone personaly who would look good in them. Maybe we grow 'em sturdier here in the Northeast! ;)

I could live without the babydoll smockish tops. They remind me too much of maternity wear.

But I do love that there are so many style personas that you can mix and match. A little rock n roll mixed with some softer feminine pieces...or funky and punky mixed with tailored and classic looks. But I think the one thing I am happiest about is that new styles don't completely replace old styles. I love that bootlegs are still fashionable even though skinnies and leggings have made a big comeback. Oh, I'm also glad to see the strong return of the tunic. I find tunics universally flattering, comfortable, and can cross over into young and fun by pairing with leggings.

Skinny jeans are such a staple for me, I can't imagine wearing anything else. I'm hoping they won't go out of style for a while.

I'm thrilled that 50's dresses are in. I love the look. They're so feminine and flattering. They show off my small waist and the big skirts hid my pouchy stomach bellow the waist... even though people say I don't have a pouchy stomach. :) I'm also happy that tunics have stayed around, since I don't have one yet and I adore them.

Bright colors seems like a fun trend, but I'm not sure if I'm daring enough to try it.

I can't wait to add some fit-and-flare '50's dresses to my wardrobe! Not that I need any more dresses... 15 and counting...

Ahhh! You're making me want Spring to come more quickly!!

I'm excited about belted jackets. I just picked up a hip-length one at H&M the other day. Unfortunately it will be too cold to wear it for a while!
