I got the cami at Express last year Patience. They might have them again this season. This colour combination is my absolute best .I have not been this excited about colours for a very long time. So yum.

Actually Maya, I wear citron well as a top near my face. I am fair skinned and very blonde but my eyes are an acidic green hue and my cheeks are rosy which is why I wear sour colours well. I’ve also dressed brunettes with pale skin and brunettes with olive skin in citron and it looks incredible. Black hair and black skin also works. Surprisingly, this colour is not as hard to wear as you might think, if you pair it with the right neutral. I don’t prefer citron with black because it somehow takes the freshness away.

Could you share where you got the cami? I have dark skin (more brown than olive) but I've never felt like I could wear yellow because my skin has a yellowish undertone to it. I think if there were just a tad more blue (i.e. more limey) I could pull it off. Maybe I'll go for a belt and definitely a cami under a deep V top.

I love the look of that color with the tomato red jacket. Not sure if I could pull it off as an outfit. But I would definately wear that combination in a purse or necklace or shoes---or all three!

I second your thought, Maya...this color would look terrible with my Asian skin; as a result, I'll probably be bypassing this trend.

I imagine only very dark skintones can pull this color off near the face (like the last model). Maybe that's just me. I think it would work great as a shot of concentrated color layered under a jacket, cardi, or sweater to tone it down a bit, but ink blue with this color sounds like a great combination. I would love to find an ink blue tunic or sweater dress to layer over punchy colors like this.

You're right.. wearing it with an ink blue would be really fab, or even a pale pastel blue.

I've gotten into the mix of trying out different (odd) colour combos like a pale seafoam green with a burgundy red, which turned out quite fab...

I am loving the citron but it'd be an accessory for me - I could NOT pull it off in clothing
