Good reason not to have a school meeting at 7AM on a Monday morning. Thought I'd get the picture done early, but I look dead. Maybe the outfit makes up for it?

another morning shot - a little more awake this time! another chunky necklace that i haven't worn much yet. this necklace was purchased for a 50's-inspired prom outfit. i love love love the 50s! so, thought id try to incorporate it into my daily style.

Shell, you always look so polished. I love how your vintage necklace really dresses up your blue top and jeans. I have a double strand of vintage, giant pearls too but I rarely wear them. I guess I should.

My favorite is Friday. You look great in teal and I love how you paired it with the plaid pants. The shirt dress is gorgeous on you too.

Thanks for your feedback, ladies! Angie, I definitely will take you up on your pencil skirt challenge. I guess my hesitation with them is that when I think "pencil skirt", I think of the high-waisted/tapered variety. However, from your last post about them, it seems that straighter skirts are considered pencil skirts as well. Well, maybe in the next couple days I'll post a photo of a skirt that might be a pencil skirt and we'll go from there. I do have my eye on a hot pink pencil skirt though - so there's hope for me after all! About the biker jacket...we'll see.
