Trip to Nieman Marcus Last Call

This weekend I went and checked out NM Last Call. They have a ton of stuff that is all designer at decent prices. Of course, it's a bit of a treasure hunt. I bought a few things but I don't think I want to keep it all. I'd like your opinions on everything. Please use CRS and comment on fit if necessary.

I'm purposefully leaving off the designers so as not to affect your opinions. I'm afraid they affected mine. But I'll be glad to share later. Thanks in advance!

Great finds Patience!

I love that purple sweater, it fits you very nice, I'd give it a 8.5. I am not completely sure, but I it think that the length would work better with skirts.

The first jacket is incredible! Totally love it! I don't know how it fits buttoned, but unbuttoned I'd give it a 10.

The second jacket is very nice as well. Again I don't know how it fits buttoned, and are the sleeves bracelet length or a tad short? But just fit wise is a solid 9.

The dress is beautiful, and it fits you great (9). It pains me to day this, but I don't think it's the type that can be worn over pants, though of course I could be wrong ( I hope I am).

First things first...you look great in those jeans!

I liked the fit of the sweater...I think Tanya might be right on the skirt pairing.

Absolutely LOVED outfit #2, with the first jacket. Fits perfectly.

After seeing jacket #1, I'm not as big of a fan of jacket #2...I don't love the length of the jacket or the sleeves (although I'm paranoid of too short things. It happens too often to me.) I don't know a ton about jackets, but the sleeves at the top of shoulder look strange to me? Sihaya could probably cast better light on that.

I also didn't love the dress with the jeans...If it were longer and could be worn alone I would love it.

Just my 2 cents!

Tanya is spot on about the purple pullover - great for skirts. I have a cobalt blue one just like that. Keep. It scores an 8.5.

Jacket #1: KILLER. It gets a 10. Is it grey or blue tweed?

Jacket #2: I can’t really see it properly to give it a rating (sad face).

Dress: KILLER. It scores 10 too (are you tallying up your 10’s? I’m dishing them out frequently these days). Add your spectators and yellow ruffle cardi to this look and you’ll send me into orbit.

I love the purple sweater and the first jacket. Not sure about the other two. The sleeves on the second jacket seem a little short. And with the dress, I think it's more personal preference because I'm not a big floral person.

I'm having mixed feelings about my purchases so you guys are really helping me sort things out.

My favorite is the dress, definitely. So I just want to verify that it's okay over jeans/clamdiggers. I was definitely thinking of my yellow ruffle cardi to wear with it. Angie, the dress is navy and white-- do you still think the black and tan spectators will work?

The first jacket is black and white although to me it almost looks navy from a distance. It's black with small white oval dots. This was the first thing I found and really liked it at first but now I feel a little overwhelming shoulder-padded (if that makes sense). Part of it I think is that the jacket just fits. There is no button-- just two button holes, one on each side. I don't know if this was a flaw or there's a piece missing or what. Basically the girth of the jacket held closed is exactly the girth of me. The only other one they had was 2 sizes bigger and too big on me. I may need some more convincing on this one.

The second jacket is supposed to be shrunken, I think, with 3/4 sleeves. I was pretty iffy about it even in the store so it may just go back. If I get a chance I will try to take a better picture.

Oh! The dress is blue and white. Quite right, your spectators won’t work.

The jacket is missing it’s "button join". Is that a Rag & Bone jacket?

Patience - I love the sweater (8.5), jacket 1 (10), and dress (9). I like the dress over skinnies and you can even add a cardi and then a statement bag or a pair of statement shoes/booties and you'd be killer in them. I'm not as big a fan of jacket 2 - the three quarter sleeves look a little longer than 3/4 at least in the picture so then they give the appearance of too short sleeves. Also Taffy, good catch - I don't know if this is just the angle of the photo, but the sleeve seems to bunch up a bit right below the shoulder line - is that just the photo angle?

Okay, keeping the dress. The sweater I will probably keep too for skirts.

Jacket # 2 does bunch at the shoulders I think which is why I was pretty iffy about it. It's definitely going back.

The rag and bone jacket was all of $60 and I guess it is missing the button trim. Worth keeping to wear open or maybe replace the trim somehow? More thoughts on my shoulders in this jacket?

I like the Rag and Bone jacket -- it has great detail (except for the missing button trim) and it looks fine in the shoulders to me. If you think that you can wear it open, then I'd keep it.
